BULLETIN FROM EQUALITY CINCINNATI -PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL
CUT AND PASTE BELOW - EASY TO DO and could make a BIG
difference in our lives
Our opponents placed a blustering, factually incorrect ad in the
Cincinnati Enquirer this morning on page A5 attacking our five Council
cosponsors for standing up and doing what is right for the city by
restoring protections from discrimination for GLBT people to
our city laws. (The ad is not on-line. Check the paper
to see a copy).
Now is the time to send another message to our sponsors thanking them
again for their support. Our five cosponsors are:
Laketa Cole, John Cranley,
Chris Bortz, David Crowley, and Jim Tarbell
Cut and past these addresses into
your e-mail program and please email
them immediately. Give them the support they need walking into this
hearing this afternoon!
Here is a sample subject line and text:
SUBJECT: Thank you for doing what's right for the city
TEXT (customize as you wish):
I wanted to thank you again for standing up and doing what is right for
the city by cosponsor an ordinance to restore protection from
discrimination for gay and transgender people to Cincinnati's Human
This morning's factually incorrect ad in the Cincinnati Enquirer
attacking you for your support for fairness for all people in
our city makes me even more proud of you for signing your name
to this ordinance. Thank you for standing up for all of us.
